Father's Day definitely crept up on me this year! Kevin can be so hard to shop for and always claims to need nothing so I wanted to share a few gifts ideas that I'm considering for him.

Mother's Day is less than a month away and this year it actually coincides with my birthday so you can really think of this gift guide as my own personal wish list [hint, hint, Kevin]. Honestly, a little will go a long way on Mother's Day and you don't need to spend a ton of money on material gifts. However, if you're looking for inspiration, click here for some gifts that will guarantee to make mom smile!
If you've been following along in recent months, you know gifts are my love language. Surprisingly though, I'm not big on Valentine's Day gifts. Don't get me wrong, I love receiving flowers and a card like any other girl but I do think big, showy gifts really aren't necessary. Especially coming out of the holidays, it feels a little unnecessary to give or expect more gifts. That said, I think Valentine's Day is a great excuse to celebrate love and do something a little extra special or thoughtful for your significant other. If you're planning to celebrate, continue reading for a few non-material Valentine's Day activities and gifts that show you care!
Gift guides are a great source of inspiration but it's always helpful to hear what people actually buy as gifts. Kevin and I both have smaller size families so we currently buy for everyone and it can get expensive so we set our budget this year at $50/person. Click on through to see what we got everyone!
Brainstorming Christmas gifts for Palmer brings me so much joy. Even though she'll only be 18 months this year, I can't wait to see her face Christmas morning as she opens her presents. I just know she'll love everything and I envision all of the memories we'll make with each in their own way. We've taken a pretty frugal stance on toys in our home which makes Christmastime all the more special.
It's hard to believe that the holidays are among us! I don't know about you all but we're in full on holiday mode over here. The house is decorated, we've been listening to "Holiday Jazz at the Coffee Shop" via Spotify on repeat and I've started shopping for gifts. As I've mentioned before, "Gifts" is one of my love languages and I pride myself on giving thoughtful, functional, quality presents.
