We're almost a month out from Christmas now so I thought it would be fun to do a post on the Christmas gifts we've used almost daily since we opened them. It's been eye opening to see which gifts deliver the biggest bang for your buck and which are still in their original packaging.
'Tis the season for resolutions and a renewed sense of commitment to my health and fitness. It's also that point in the winter where I find myself gravitating towards more casual, comfortable outfits. I'd love to singularly blame COVID but I'm also a mom now, and to be honest, getting dressed is quite a feat some days. I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of all the books I posted in 2020 and list them in order by my ranking. If there was a tie, I ordered them how I would recommend them. I really enjoyed reading about Kya's journey from orphan child to accomplished woman in Where the Crawdads Sing. Therefore, it only felt necessary to rebrand my blog to be more all inclusive and so, I'd like to introduce my new blog: Kara Vallari.
Once Palmer was born, it was really important to us to establish family traditions that we carry forward year over year. Yes, around the holidays, but also in general for our family. Most of our family traditions are still fairly new but others we've brought from our families growing up. Read on for more details or inspiration!
Gift guides are a great source of inspiration but it's always helpful to hear what people actually buy as gifts. Kevin and I both have smaller size families so we currently buy for everyone and it can get expensive so we set our budget this year at $50/person. Click on through to see what we got everyone!
