Father's Day definitely crept up on me this year! Kevin can be so hard to shop for and always claims to need nothing so I wanted to share a few gifts ideas that I'm considering for him.
It's been a while since I read a historical fiction book and I was excited to jump back in with The Rose Code because I had received so many positive reviews from friends.
This is my second year doing a roundup of all President's Day weekend sales and I have to say, it's fascinating to see how the sales fluctuate year to year. For the most part, sales aren't as good this year but a few brands are consistent including adidas, Aerie, Gap, Janie & Jack - just to name a few.
If you're still on the hunt for kid friendly valentines, look no further! When Palmer's school emailed to say no food, no candy, no toys - it didn't leave too many options. Enter, these DIY Crayon Letters!
It took me a few chapters to really get into The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo but once I did, I really enjoyed it. Similar to her in story character, I was immediately charmed by Evelyn Hugo and invested in her life story.
This time of year I find it fun to reflect on the past year - the good, bad and ugly. In addition to a look back at follower favorite styles, I'm also excited to share my most trafficked blog posts and favorite books. Maybe because I'm in marketing but my inner nerd loves to geek out over the analytics and numbers behind the scenes on all of this so figured I'd share in case anyone else is the same way!
I loved this book from beginning to end! If you caught my book review intro, you know that reading is my version of reality tv and mindless entertainment so books that make me happy will always receive high marks from me. Click in to continue reading!
I thought the The Paris Seamstress was a well written, easy to read book. It takes place at the beginning of France's invasion during WWII and follows a protagonist as she flees to New York and starts her own fashion label.
It's that time of year again - the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If I'm being totally honest, it feels way overhyped and over talked about but I'd be lying if I said there weren't great deals to be had so I'm planning to share things I have and love and things I'm hoping to snag myself this year.
I'm so excited to see that you all love my favorite dress from May as much as I do! Ironically the blue & white pattern version of this same exact dress actually came in sixth and for good reason, they're flattering and perfect for an elevated summer look. Click here to see the other four favorites from May!
