July Book: The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
If you read and liked The Girl on the Train, The Woman in Cabin 10, Something in the Water or are a fan of psychological thrillers, you’ll enjoy this book!
Jet Set Darlings Book Review:
I couldn’t put this book down! It sucked me in from the beginning and had me second guessing every twist and turn in the plot. I was surprised to learn it was co-authored and was really impressed by Hendricks and Pekkanen’s smooth and cohesive writing style throughout. I also really enjoyed how the book was separated into three parts and how each came with it’s own surprise. I sometimes hate how you have to read the entire book before the drama presents itself or the mystery unfolds. That is not the case for this book.
Based on other reviews I read, my imagination had dreamt up an even more dramatic ending but I still like how everything played out. It was thoughtful and smart and closed the loop on the different layers of storylines – something that I think is super important. This is a great read that will keep you entertained the entire time!
Book Synopsis (from Amazon):
When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.
You will assume you are reading about a jealous ex-wife.
You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement – a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love.
You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle.
Assume nothing.
Twisted and deliciously chilling, Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen’s The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage – and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.
Read between the lies.
