This year we spent Thanksgiving in Sonoma with our families. It was equal parts incredible and difficult. On the one hand, we love wine country, it's our happy place, and we'll take pretty much any excuse to visit but traveling with kids brings a whole new set of challenges - especially in Napa/Sonoma - which is NOT the most kid/baby friendly destination. But we powered through and really had a lovely time creating memories with our family.
We just returned from our first vacation as a family of four and honestly, I'm exhausted - LOL! Trips with kids really aren't all that relaxing but they're rewarding in their own way and it was nice to get out of the city, leave the craziness of selling the condo/buying the house behind and just spend time together before I head back to work. sit down and write Islas's birth story because it was a wild, incredible experience like none I've ever had! In my last Pregnancy Update + Q & A I said I didn't have a birth plan but "in a perfect world, I will have a quick, unmedicated, vaginal birth but we all know reality isn't perfect..." Turns out, that's pretty much how the story goes - haha. Continue reading for more details on how little miss Isla Fe entered this world and changed our lives forever!
I'm so excited to see that you all love my favorite dress from May as much as I do! Ironically the blue & white pattern version of this same exact dress actually came in sixth and for good reason, they're flattering and perfect for an elevated summer look.
